We came here for mid autumn festival dinner with my Husband and mom & brothers. We made reservations 1 week in advance as we knew it was going to be busy.  The ambiance: high energy throughout the restaurant with guests talking over each other.

We had the famous lobster sticky rice. It was so delicious! The lobster was perfectly cooked and the sticky rice had lobster flavour, yum!

The cod fish tasted perfect and sauce was really good, not too salty. Very smooth.

As for the beef & vegetable, it was good. Nothing too fancy.

I think the last dish was sweet & sour pork chop. It was good, nothing too special.

For dessert, they gave us red bean sweet soup. Good taste and consistency.

All in all, a good restaurant to go with large families.

On our trip to Vancouver, we had to try the lobster dish with sticky rice that everyone raves about and we weren't disappointed! Perfectly cooked with savory garlic sauce and the sticky rice with corn was a great addition. I wish that they would do a better job of cracking the lobster since some parts were difficult to get without a cracker. Unfortunately, they were out of the BBQ duck, so we got a plain duck dish. The meat was very tender but I was craving more flavor. The mixed veggies were great and cooked perfectly.

We went for a late lunch so there was no wait and the service was good. The lobster was around 2.5 lbs and the bill for the 3 dishes came out to $105 CAD which seemed a bit high...

A little hole in the wall that don't know how to answer their phones.
    "Do you have a reservation?"
No, because you don't answer you phone.
    "Oh, were busy."

The lobster sticky rice was good because there was a small portion of rice to lobster. Perfectly cooked.

Tables were close together and cramped.

Long time Chinese congee restaurant favourite of mine in Vancouver. Good for lunch if you want congee and noodles and also for big style dinner. Restaurant slightly updated. Service as expected for Chinese restaurant. We had fish congee, braised beef soup noodle, hand shredded chicken jellyfish appetizer (must try). Been here for dinners before and there is good selection of Cantonese dishes. Overall good Chinese restaurant in Fraser and 49 avenue area.

Another amazing dinner as we dined on fresh , was live  Dungeness crab and prawns from the bay of Vancouver. Amy and Andrew treated us to a meal that will last in my food  memories for eons. We were the only non Asian guests so be prepared or come with a local as every item on there 300 items needs translation

Enjoy for sure and this is a true hole in the wall
